The cardholder is the most traditional shape in our leather range, and the one that suits the widest range of hands and pockets. It is small, flat and genuinely unisex, and it comes in more colours than vegetable tanned leather usually allows.
Each cardholder is cut from Italian vegetable tanned leather sourced from a Tuscan tannery certified by the Genuine Italian Vegetable Tanned Leather Consortium. It measures 100 × 70 mm and holds up to 6 cards across two front slots, one back slot and a centre section for folded bills. Handmade in Portugal with hand-painted edges in organic paint and a gold Escuyer logo. Every piece arrives in a presentation box. Vegetable tanned leather develops a patina with daily use.
Three types. Smooth single-colour cardholders in black, blue, cognac, light brown, khaki, orange, yellow, violet purple and clorofilla, a bright yellow-green, plus an iridescent silver finish (€75). Bicolour cardholders with two colours split across the exterior panels: blue and khaki, orange and mustard, cognac and pink, and clorofilla and lime (€75). Hand-dyed camouflage cardholders in orange, blue and light green, plus a crocodile-embossed option, where each colour is layered by hand at the Tuscan tannery so no two pieces match (€85).
